This month has been busy for me as you could tell in the blog. My whirlwind tour of Arizona where I make appearances on the podcasts Love long and prosper, Jack Mangan’s Deadpan and Evo @11. I was invited for a discussion on Behind the Mic. That show was dropped in the feed. I have 3 interviews in the can right now. So it will keep me busy in the month of July. So I have a lot of stuff coming for you. So stay tuned and I will see you on the other side.

This was a fun interview/discussion (so fun I forgot to introduce him). Please listen to the whole thing because at the end I have a preview of down form 10. That sounds like a lot of fun amd I am so looking forward to it. So please enjoy the discussion.

You can find the stuff that J Daniel Sawyer does here

In the first week of June, my day job sent me to Phoenix for job training. So while I was there I was able to visit some internet friends in real life. Then I made appearances in their shows.
I personally want to thank Jack Mangan for being a gracious host and tour guide.
I also made an appearance on his show Jack Mangan’s Deadpan

Dan and Cj from the Love Long and Prosper podcast - They throw a lovely BBQ party with all the important people showing up. Thanks for letting me invade your home and feeding me. We also got to watch one of the worst TNG episode that were made…ack but making fun of it was a lot of fun. I also finally got to meet Dan Shuarette from the Out of the Coffin Podcast. Dan S has the distiction of being the first person to mention Wander Radio on his first show (I think) Is Anybody Listening podcast 3 years ago when he interviewed Jack Mangan.

Also I FINALLY got to meet Evo Terra from the evo @ 11. This guy got me hooked on podcasting 4 years ago when he was a part of the Dragon Page Cover to Cover. It was fun to also meet Debbie and Evo’s wife Sheila. They made me feel very welcome and it was a fun discussion to listen in on.

Then Sunday I was on the radio show “Behind the Mic” for a full hour. My interview has already posted, go back one post.

So it has been busy this last week … I think I need a nap.

Here in the feed is the — They call it an interview - I call it a discussion. The problem is the third hour of the show did not post on Blog Talk radio like I would have thought or they - meaning Joel and his crew… not a problem here is the interview un edited and raw… You even hear my train… ;)

I have recorded an interview with the bedlam bards that will be released next month after I get back from my business trip. I also have an interview with J Daniel Sawyer the author of the Antithesis Progression Book 1 Predestination and other games of Chance. (I love that title) and then show 41. Just incase you were wondering – Wander Radio turns 3 years old on June 8th. On the first Anniversary I put together a little show celebrating it. Should I do that this year? Shoot me an email or leave a comment on the blog or catch up with me on Twitter. That reminds me all of my contact info is now on a separate page for all the places that you can find me on the net. Also be on the look out for me at a couple of my favorite podcasts on the net…That does it for this show – I will see you on the other side.

Today I continue the marathon of interviews that I have done with a new band Captain Black’s Sea Dogges. This interview was done in my hotel room during Conestoga last month. This interview may seem a bit choppy it is because the band played a wonderful cover of a U2 hit that I can not play here. (Be on the look out for it on Coverville) but the band did an original song also right there in the room called “Davy Jones” which you can find on their self titled CD. If you want to hear more tune into episode 40, where I will have more of there original music. If you can’t wait you can purchase there CD here.

This band is close to my heart already because I have been listening to 2 of the members for about 3 years now. Maybe you can guess who they are.

The White Hart Renaissance Faire was hit by a tornado. See if you can help if you are in the area.

If you can’t make it to listen in you can download the episode later and listen at your convience or better yet subcribe to their show. They have lots of tips and tricks and interviews and all kinds of stuff to listen to!

By Arlene RadaskyI listen to a lot of Podiobooks. A podiobook is a serialized audio book (usually read by the author) delivered via RSS feed. I love Podiobooks because they allow me to start at the beginning of book without having to download the entire book first. It is great to plug in the rss feed and listen to chapters of books at my pace (usually 1 episode per week). Until recently, that has all changed. I was turned onto 2 books via twitter and the podiobook community forums. (also a great place to learn about new projects coming down the pipe. I learned of Rhonda Carpenter’s “Mark of the Druid” there (Hopefully I will have more on this later) I started The Fox on Monday and finished on Tuesday… yes that is 27 episode nearly 16 hours of listening pleasure (actual time 15 .6 hours and that includes all of the music that she included at the end of each episode) I can only say this about Nathan Lowell’s  Golden Clipper series which I am a huge fan of…and The Fox ranks right up there with that. I won’t spoil the story but suffice it to say that she melds to different times together effectively and maintains believability through out the story. I recommend this story, highly. What your still reading this… go here and get your own copy… This audio version is going next to my Solar Clipper series in the car.

From the Podiobook site:

Jahna and Lovern’s clan lay in the Romans’ path of destruction. The death of their people is a certainty, unless a bargain is made with the Gods, even if it means a human sacrifice. Will they trade the Druid Lovern, and his visionary wife, Jahna make with the Gods, save their family?

Two thousand years later, Aine MacRae is on their trail. She’s a struggling archaeologist, on the verge of uncovering the village were Jahna and Lovern lived. The farm where her site is located is for sale! But for a ghostly visit, greed almost triumphs leaving the truth and ancient stories buried forever and a lost love be rekindled.
