Episode Number #45

Welcome to another episode of Wander Radio “Almost on Your Radio Dial.”

Intro

Set 1

  • Zombie Factory – ElectrKa
  • Hi this is Megan from Megan’s Mix and I am breaking in here to announce that the Wolf has not reported into the studio yet and we have reports from Broken Sea Audio Productions that there are some strange happenings going on with some of their various shows. As I learn more I will break in and let you know.
  • Long Live the Dead – Sex Slaves

Poetry Corner – Suicide II by Teel McClanahan III

Still no sign of the Wolf – we have received reports from Broken Sea that their mixer of extraordinary episodes of the OTR Swag Cast (links in the show notes) Bill Hollweg and  Mark Kalita better known as Broken Sea’s Dr. Who have gone missing and  the Tardis used in BSAP’s Dr. Who’s production is also missing.

Close My Eyes Forever – Lita

Promo – Kolchak

Poetry Corner – Suicide III by Teel McClanahan III

RE: Your Brains – Jonathon Coulton

This is just getting stranger and stranger…Still no sign of the Wolf (thank heavens he took good notes this TIME) This just in… A real clue this time Paul Mannering the executive producer of Broken Sea and his wife Damaris have been found in their home and a broken recorder next to what is assumed their bodies. Here is a clip of what was found on the recorder. I will break in as more information becomes available.

Books with Joe

Review of World War Z by Max Brooks

Poetry Corner – Suicide IV by Teel McClanahan III

Megan’s Mix

Alright this is just getting ridiculous. Still no sign of the Wolf this is so not like him He never lets me play in the studio this long by myself…David Sobkowiak BSAP’s web god has come up missing although it is suspected that the cute dynamic duo of Draven and Caira had unleashed rabid man eating sea-monkeys on the poor man. I would play the clip here but it is just too disturbing. David never had a chance. The Devilish duo has been reported to have unleashed on the world Zombie Wombats. Only from the imagination of a couple of little girls I would have used something more creative like a clone army of Hannah Montana’s fans…

Big Bubbas Halloween Sale

Theater of Horrors – Hollywood Haunts

Poetry Corner – Homicide I by Teel McClanahan III

The Wolf finally calls it in – (HEY!)

  • Super Dark Super Heros – Hollywood Haunts
  • Halloween – 3

My wife posted this- [info]kitwench

"Given that we can't manage fun with Pirates and Song this weekend -
Sunday afternoon we're heading over to Wagoner's Maple Park for a picnic.

We're figuring on being over there 'round 11am, and staying for a few hours, so if we've ever had a beer together, or you'd like to have a beer together - come on out !

We plan to bring some burgers for grilling, possibly some chicken, deviled eggs and macaroni salad.
Bring something to toss in the pot luck and join us !

This is a kid friendly event - our 15yoDd and 11yo Ds will be there.
Oh, and please repost and pass this on - I don't have everyone's LJ yet !"

Alright Chester you wanted something to do on Sunday... ;)

Wow – I got to do something that actually could be deemed as important. I filled in for Kevin Latham… What you don’t know who he is. This is the guy that organizes all of us herding cats called bloggers and podcasters from Oklahoma and every week (mostly) he gives us updates and historical news about our state of Oklahoma. I had a great time putting this episode together and I am really happy to help out a fellow okie.

Kevin I don’t know how you do this weekly… (my show is monthly) but I have a new respect for you – I only hope that I was able to maintain the quality you have set.

This month has been busy for me as you could tell in the blog. My whirlwind tour of Arizona where I make appearances on the podcasts Love long and prosper, Jack Mangan’s Deadpan and Evo @11. I was invited for a discussion on Behind the Mic. That show was dropped in the feed. I have 3 interviews in the can right now. So it will keep me busy in the month of July. So I have a lot of stuff coming for you. So stay tuned and I will see you on the other side.

In the first week of June, my day job sent me to Phoenix for job training. So while I was there I was able to visit some internet friends in real life. Then I made appearances in their shows.
I personally want to thank Jack Mangan for being a gracious host and tour guide.
I also made an appearance on his show Jack Mangan’s Deadpan

Dan and Cj from the Love Long and Prosper podcast – They throw a lovely BBQ party with all the important people showing up. Thanks for letting me invade your home and feeding me. We also got to watch one of the worst TNG episode that were made…ack but making fun of it was a lot of fun. I also finally got to meet Dan Shuarette from the Out of the Coffin Podcast. Dan S has the distiction of being the first person to mention Wander Radio on his first show (I think) Is Anybody Listening podcast 3 years ago when he interviewed Jack Mangan.

Also I FINALLY got to meet Evo Terra from the evo @ 11. This guy got me hooked on podcasting 4 years ago when he was a part of the Dragon Page Cover to Cover. It was fun to also meet Debbie and Evo’s wife Sheila. They made me feel very welcome and it was a fun discussion to listen in on.

Then Sunday I was on the radio show “Behind the Mic” for a full hour. My interview has already posted, go back one post.

So it has been busy this last week … I think I need a nap.

Here in the feed is the — They call it an interview – I call it a discussion. The problem is the third hour of the show did not post on Blog Talk radio like I would have thought or they – meaning Joel and his crew… not a problem here is the interview un edited and raw… You even hear my train… ;)
